The first film produced by Anthracite Films, Inc. was Michael James Kacey's debut feature: a dark drama titled "Daybreak," the story of man wish to change his past, which thereby destroys his present and future. Distributed by Tapeworm Video, "Daybreak" also enjoyed a two-year film festival run. The movie will soon available on DVD.

The Lodestone Catalog is now carrying Anthracite Films’ latest project, "The Poet Laureate of Radio: An Interview with Norman Corwin." The 76 minute feature film is drawn from an interview originally conducted for "Radio Changed America." The DVD can be ordered at Createspace.

Michael James Kacey has completed the screenplay adaptation of James Stevens’ novel "Coal Cracker Blues." and is currently shopping it around.

Our next project, which is currently in production, is a documentary film examining the cultural and historic impact of radio in the United States . "Radio Changed America" already boasts interviews with legends Norman Corwin and Art Linkletter, as well as well-know actors Dick Van Patten, John Astin and Bob Hastings.
